New generation copper-based coatings with increased resistance to pathogens

Project description: CHIRMED together with the Institute of Metallurgy and Material Engineering Aleksander Krupkowski of the Polish Academy of Sciences is implementing a project under the M-Era Net Call 2020, the aim of which is to design and manufacture new copper-based coatings with enhanced functional properties, which responds to the global trend of disease prevention instead of treatment by reducing the number of bacterial and viral infections.
