Bioactive, patient-specific finger implants for durable functional reconstruction after amputation

CHIRMED is a partner of an international consortium under the M-Era.Net 2 2019 Call program. The aim of the project is to create new surgical possibilities of finger reconstruction by creating patient-specific implants of finger bones and joints, and ensuring connection with the nervous system during soft tissue reconstruction in order to regain sensation.
